It's Thursday
woohoo!
With the election,
I feel like November is even wilder than usual.
I'm glad the advertising is over, grateful for a nation I love, and hopeful that we can channel the American spirit within us to improve and work better together than ever before.

-fabulous entertainment
-date nights!
-quality babysitters
-after parties
-having the will power to say no to sweet goodies
-sleeping in mornings
-Mr. H's home days
-Mr. H's safe travels on away days
-new friends & crafty days
-amazing women who inspire me to do more
-reasons and opportunities to give back
-the support & love I feel in our new Church family
-soul enriching music
-afternoon naps (even if I'm not the one who gets one!)
-phone calls with family
-bedtime stories from a 4 year old(last night included "the itty gooey spider that lived inside a big clam")
-sweet songs from a 2 year old ("gockey gockey beebee" (rocky, rocky, baby))
-energizing giggles from a 10.75 month old (she really is such a happy baby!)
-reminders of the bigger picture
-our Savior's love that pulls us through the loss and confusion of grief
-stickers in the mail!
-stickers from voting!
-new finds for my closet (freecycle!) and a new size
-peace that comes with prayer and the knowledge of an all-powerful and all-loving God

I think I'd like to hear the story of the icky gooey spider that lived inside a clam sometime.
You know, kids come up with some great stories sometimes. Check out Kid Snippets. They have a lot of nonsense stories from kids, acted out by adults.
