1. Waking up in my teenage-pink bedroom
2. Getting to sleep in (after a 6am feeding)
3. Learning how to make my own laundry detergent
4. Having such a lazy morning, I didn't even eat breakfast! (And that's a big deal. I am a cereal GIRL)
5. Cuddling the sweetest 8 month old ever
6. Having a 'babysitter' (thanks, Uncle Spud!) while I took a shower & got ready for the day
7. Wearing my new white shirt from Old Navy (thank you, honey!)
8. Checking my email to find a birthday email from dear friends, including one from Portugal!
9. Wearing colorful jewelry that belongs to my Mama
10. Enjoying 4 renditions of the birthday song via phone (thank you: Trevor, Joe, Ian, & Uncle Le)
11. Having a birthday lunch date with the fam (chinese buffet, yum)
12. Going to visit a friend & share some freshly homemade soap (and be entertained by Baby J's reaction to her dog, Sammy)
13. Shopping at Cato!
14. My first ever REDBOX experience
15. Checking facebook to find over 50 birthday wishes on my wall: seriously!? I heart facebook just for that!
16. Talking to my honey a couple of times during the day (not having him with me is NOT one of the fabulous things about today, but him making money while working out of town IS a fabulous thing)
17. A surprise visit from 'Miss Judy' who brought a gracious gift of her famous chocolate covered strawberries (who needs cake!?)
18. Lounging, chatting with my Mom while wrangling the wiggly one
19. Being a supermodel in my very own post-Cato-shopping fashion show
20. Reading "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie" with my child
21. Wondering what would happen if I gave Myself A Cookie...
22. Wanting some milk to drink with my cookie
23. Picking out a Happy Birthday balloon just for me (until tomorrow when it will be just for Spud who will be turning 22)
24. Eating too many cookies, too many chocolate covered strawberries, and too many of Baby J's Gerber Graduate star puffs
25. Feeling grateful for a truly blessed 28th year
26. Receiving a few perfect gifts (thank you. thank you. thank you.)
27. Excitedly watching Spud open his gifts from moi (a day early)
28. Singing "happy birthday to me"
29. Kissing Baby J goodnight for the first time as a 29 year old

it was really nice having you hear for your ( and Spencer's ) birthday ...and wrangling is a good word...sometimes Jackson just gets all wound up and SO SO FUNNY! And he is fearless...he would absolutely dive off anything with no worries ( so we have to watch and catch! )
