Thankful Thursday: July 16th

It is 9:16am.

I can hear the birds chirping outside, the summer (more like spring) breezes causing a clammoring of the long blinds covering the open door...(high today is 71 degrees...my heaven!)

...and my 13 month old darling of boy is still sleeping.

He did wake up around 2am a bit *thirsty* but other than that, we are blessed with a 10-12 hr sleeping window, and I AM THANKFUL FOR IT!

I am also thankful for the aforementioned fabulous weather (some around here are complaining that it's not warm enough...I'm just glad it's not miserably hot, I don't do well when it is miserably hot--I morph into The Wicked Witch). AND, we have not ONCE turned on our A/C (Thanks in part to our Aloha Breezin' Fan)

I am thankful that the frogs, toads, & whatever-elses closed down their midnight mardi gras so we can truly enjoy a QUIET slumber.

I am thankful that I was able to have my very first teeth cleaning in 5 years...which goes hand-in-hand with * I am so thankful for insurance *!

I am thankful for Miss M. who will be babysitting on Friday night so Mr. H and I can go on a hot date...long overdue, I assure you.

I am thankful for the early Mormon Pioneers whose sacrifices benefit happy people all over this world (This week many Mormons will celebrate Pioneer Day), some of which are my ancestors.

I am thankful that it is 9:39 and the birds are still singing their songs, the breezes are still flirting with my blinds, and the babe is still a'sleeping.
