Step Right up to Thankful Thursday!

and Thursday is the best (by far!) day to do it!

Today's Thankful Thursday brought to you by: bacardi pina colada frozen mix (no need to add alcohol!)

Because when you live in Wisconsin in February...you don't need any extra reason to dream of sunny days and sip your way (non-alcoholic-ly, of course) to a tropical escape...

Just sayin'.

I am thankful today for a sweet toddler voice (I just want to bottle it up!) that wakes me up in the morning (not too early, so it's a welcome sound!) and little hands wrapped around my neck as we sway singing "Good Morning...Good Morning...".

I am thankful today for comfortable clothes & the whocareswhatIlooklike attitude that comes with them. I am not looking pregnant yet (15 1/2 weeks now), I am just looking...chubby. Not the best shape-stage of pregnancy, but what can you do?

I am thankful today for the hard work that Mr. H puts in every day to bring home the paycheck. It's not the job he imagined it would be (yet?), but he does it and he does it well. Then, he comes home and wrestles, tickles, feeds, cleans, and diaper-changes until the night is over. I am so lucky!

I am thankful today for soft whispers reminding me, prodding me forward to be my best self. Yesterday those soft whispers reminded me of my goal to establish a consistent scripture study habit--and I spent a glorious hour studying and being re-reminded of the spiritual power that can be gained through study & application.

I am thankful today for the sunshine that has been pushing the local temps up to more acceptable levels (though the wind didn't seem to get the memo...)
