Thankful Thursday: April 29, 2010

It's 58 degrees outside my sliding glass doors and the sun is putting on an awesome show--it's going to be another gorgeous day in central Wisconsin!

*GASP*

Looking out the doors onto my patio...I *just* had an 'AHA! moment'...

I just realized why so many birds are enjoying my flower-less flower bed...they are collecting the straw-ish stuff for their nest building projects! BAH.

Hmmm...I guess it's not so bad, I'll consider it my contribution to the local bird nest makin' fest.

In my nest today...a few strands of Thankful goodness to share with you:

I'm thankful that we were able to spend some time last weekend putting away our winter coats (can I hear a woo hoo!!) and I replaced some empty spaces with rows of flowing maternity wear--officially hung and ready for business!

I'm thankful for the cranberry mandarin (new scent at WM!) candle that transforms my kitchen-living room into a fruity wonderland every afternoon

I'm thankful for Mr. H's support of my creative pursuits (just finished another cake decorating course)--he has taken over the job of toddler-wrangling every Tuesday evening this month & done a fantastic job!

I'm thankful for details that make Springtime so special...like: fresh strawberries (in my tummy!), new gardens, green buds, breezy air, rainy mornings, and those love birds taking my straw...

Ha.

I'm thankful that J's fall from the park slide yesterday resulted in only minor cuts and that he can be calmed from most any scare with a few animal crackers, hugs, and "honey" kisses.

...And I'm thankful for whoever invented the pocket-size spray-on neosporin that I will now be toting around with me everywhere I go. Having boys means I need to be prepared for scrapes & cuts, right?

What's in your Thankful nest?
