Thankful Thursday: December 24th

It's Thursday.
But no ordinary Thursday...

Today is Christmas Eve. Tomorrow people of many nations, languages, cultures, and believes will celebrate and honor the birth of the Savior of the world.

The Savior of the WORLD.

With all the rush of the holidays, I hope that we all can (if we haven't already) take some time to think about what THAT means. What Christmas really means for you.

For me it means everything.

Prophets testified of Christ for thousands of years before his birth, He came as they said he would, and He lived like no other. His life has touched every soul...even souls who don't know it yet. His life and love are the ultimate gifts to us.

What a special time of the year--to truly, completely be unitedly Thankful for the One whose life & sacrifice offers us hope and renewal.

May your heart be lifted as you celebrate
with family and friends...
Merry Christmas!

Christmas is more than trees and twinkling lights, more than toys and gifts and baubles of a hundred varieties. It is love. It is the love of the Son of God for all mankind. It reaches out beyond our power to comprehend. It is magnificent and beautiful.

It is peace. It is the peace which comforts, which sustains,

which blesses all who accept it.

It is faith. It is faith in God and His Eternal Son. It is faith in His wondrous ways and message.

It is faith in Him as our Redeemer and our Lord.
